This book is the result of a doctoral research that analyses how the expansion of commodity frontiers is manifested in country-specific trajectories of inequitable resource access. The research was approached from the perspective of political ecology based on a case study on the expansion of the palm oil frontier in Colombia between the years 2000 and 2010 looking at the power relations, resource access struggles and resistance connected with such expansion.
